Crape Myrtle is a small tree, shrub that grows to 25-30 feet.  Grows best in full sun with rich moist soil but will tolerate less hospitable areas once it becomes established.  Flower color ranges from lavender, pink, red, white, and purple.  Mostly used as an ornamental plant.
