Honey Locust wood is used for a variety of purposes.  Pods are consumed by deer, squirrel, and bear. Source of pollen and nectar for honey.  A nitrogen fixer often planted for erosion control and on stripmine banks.  Armed with heavy thorns.  Adaptable to a variety of soils and climates.
