Southern Waxmyrtle is a small evergreen tree or shrub growing on wet or dry sites.  It is a nitrogen fixer and will work well mixed in a variety of forest types, on open wetter areas and for mitigation projects.  It provides food and cover for a variety of birds, including quail and turkey.
