The mission of the National Tree Trust is to act
as a catalyst for local volunteer groups in the
growing, planting, and maintenance of trees in rural
communities, urban areas, and along our nation's
highways.
Association
of Consulting Foresters of America, Inc.
Association of Consulting Foresters of America,
Inc. (ACF) was founded in 1948 to advance the professionalism,
ethics, and interests of professional foresters
whose primary work was consulting to the public.
The ACF is the only national association for consulting
foresters. Currently, there are over 600 members
in 41 states and 1 Canadian province.

Forest and Paper Association
AF&PA is the national trade association of
the forest products industry. AF&PA represents

that engage in or represent the manufacture of pulp,

The Society of American Foresters (SAF) is the national
scientific and educational organization representing
the forestry profession in the United States. SAF
believes that stewardship of the land is the cornerstone

The mission of the USDA Forest Service is to achieve

Decision Support System
The Texas Forest Service TDSS is a web-based decision
tool for non-industrial private forest landowners
and others who are interested in timberland investment
and management offering trial and error type scenarios
with good explanations of terms.

TIMBER MART-SOUTH is a quarterly market price
survey and report of the major timber products in
11 Southeastern States.

The National Timber Tax Website is a comprehensive
and interactive guide to the tax treatment of timber
at both the federal and state level. The website
is intended to be used by timberland owners, as
well as a reference source for accountants, attorneys,
consulting foresters, and other professionals who
work closely with timberland owners.
