Wagner Itria Jr. leads ArborGen’s Brazil operations, overseeing the company’s strategic direction, operational performance, and long-term growth throughout one of the world’s most important forestry markets. He works closely with teams across the organization to ensure customers receive innovative solutions, high-quality products, and exceptional service while supporting the continued development of ArborGen’s presence in Brazil.

With more than 30 years of experience in the forestry industry, Wagner brings extensive expertise in business management, operations, and leadership. A trained forester by education, he has spent his career helping organizations navigate complex challenges while building strong teams and creating sustainable, long-term value. His broad industry experience allows him to connect operational excellence with customer success, ensuring ArborGen remains focused on delivering results for landowners, forestry companies, and partners across the region.

Wagner is passionate about the lessons forestry teaches – particularly patience, resilience, and the importance of long-term thinking. He enjoys working in an industry where decisions made today can have a lasting impact for decades to come and where success is built through collaboration, stewardship, and continuous improvement.

Outside of work, Wagner is deeply family-oriented and enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and grandson. He is also an avid soccer enthusiast and enjoys playing guitar whenever possible.
