Christina Green

Chief Financial Officer

Christina Green serves as ArborGen’s Chief Financial Officer, overseeing the company’s accounting, information technology, and human resources functions across both the United States and Brazil. Her responsibilities include financial planning and reporting, treasury management, risk management, payroll, external audits, board governance, and the operational systems that support ArborGen’s global business.

With more than 30 years of experience in agriculture and business leadership, Christina brings a unique blend of financial expertise, operational leadership, and innovation to the organization. Prior to joining ArborGen, she spent 24 years with Monsanto, where she held leadership roles across accounting, marketing, operations, and research and development. Her career has included international leadership experience in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as the development of patented systems that helped advance genetic improvement programs within the livestock industry and continue to influence agricultural practices today.

For Christina, the most rewarding part of any business is the people. She is passionate about building strong teams, supporting employee success, and helping organizations navigate challenges while remaining focused on long-term growth. She believes the dedication and commitment of ArborGen’s employees are among the company’s greatest strengths and takes pride in supporting the teams that help drive the business forward every day.

Christina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, completed executive MBA studies through Washington University, and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). Outside of work, she is an accomplished artist who enjoys creating three-dimensional works and abstract paintings. An avid traveler, Christina has visited more than 35 countries and enjoys experiencing new cultures and perspectives from around the world.
