Our process begins with the genetic fingerprinting of every tree in each seed orchard. We tag every bagged branch for our MCP to ensure that genetically elite males pollinate all flowers above the tag while the flowers below those tags remain open-pollinated. During MCP cone harvest, we meticulously collect cones/seeds above these tags, assuring you of the purest elite genetics possible. This tagging process is crucial to prevent the accidental mixing of MCP/CMP and OP, ensuring you do not pay MCP/CMP prices for OP genetics.
